15 ਤਾਰੀਕ ਦਾ ਅਲਟੀਮੇਟਮ | Resolution 9 – Bargari Shaheedi
At the 25 October 2015 Bargari Shaheedi Samagam, nine resolutions were announced by the Panthic Jathebandia in relation to the incidents of Beadbi of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. The ninth resolution gave an ultimatum to the Punjab Government to fulfil the explicit demands by 15 November 2015, failing which Sikhs would start protests specifically aimed at surrounding Akali Dal MP’s/MLA’s and SGPC members. Bhai Ranjit Singh Khalsa Dhadrianwale reaffirmed the resolution at today’s Diwaan in Phagwara. If by the end of Sunday 15/11/15 the demands are not met, then this will be taken forward following a meeting in which the plan for the implementation of this resolution will be discussed. The authorities, after immense public pressure, were forced to release falsely accused brothers Bhai Rupinder Singh and Bhai Jaswinder Singh. However, the other two original demands remain as they were. There has yet been no registration of murder cases against specific Police officers responsible for the Shaheedi of Bhai Krishan Bhagwan Singh and Bhai Gurjeet Singh, and neither have the agency(s) behind the Beadbi incidents been identified.
